Kendrapara, an important district in Odisha’s coastal landmass has hogged the limelight in post restoration relief and rebuilding efforts after Fani, a massive cyclone pummelled the state’s coast near Puri on May 3.
For handling the onerous assignment, Chief Minister handpicked old timer and principal secretary with the water resources department PK Jena. Jena, who has often been the blue eyed boy of the chief minister has delivered with panache in all challenging assignments. This time too, he has come up with a superlative score. That Kendrapara is all agog with a colossal scale of relief and rehabilitation efforts is a testament to Jena’s commitment.

“I have directed the District Administration to immediately take steps for implementing the livelihood package for self-help groups, farmers and fishermen,” he added.
Thanks to the exemplary vision and assiduous efforts of Jena, water and electricity supply has been restored in the town and other works will be completed soon by the engineers and other workers.
